I. If a staff member or student is diagnosed with COVID-19, he/she must inform the Health Protection Unit as soon as possible so as to facilitate the follow-up investigation.

II. If a staff member or student is classified as a home isolation or independent health manager by the health unit, please do not enter the campus for the time being and must report to the Health and Safety Section as soon as possible.

A. [Home Isolation

(a). Target: Contact person with confirmed case.

(b). 10 days of isolation + 7 days of independent health management (total 17 days without admission to school), cooperate with the Health Care Unit during the period of examination and report to the Health Care Unit regularly.

B. [Independent Health Management 7-10 days without admission to school].

(a). For those who have completed home quarantine or isolation: 7 days of independent health management and no admission to school.

(b). Those who have been reported as having a negative test: they will not be admitted to school for 7 days for independent health management, and will be allowed to return to school on the seventh day after another self-screening, if the test is negative and there are no uncomfortable symptoms.

(c). Those who are deemed necessary by the local health authorities and have been issued with a notice of voluntary health management: 10 days of voluntary health management without admission to school, and another self-screening on the 10th day, and if the test is negative and there are no symptoms of discomfort, they will be allowed to return to school on the day following the test.

III. Those who receive warning messages about overlapping footprints or footprints will be subject to independent health monitoring for 10 days and will cooperate with the Health Protection Unit in taking the test and reporting to them in accordance with the instructions.

C. [10 days of independent health monitoring]: The day of contact is day 0, and the next 5 days are not allowed to enter the school, and self-screening is conducted on days 0 and 5. Those with symptoms will not be allowed to attend school, but will be asked to seek medical confirmation and report to the Health and Safety Section. (e.g. SMS message informing you that you have the same footprint as the confirmed patient on 4/6. Therefore, you will be screened on 4/6 (day 0) and again on 4/11 (day 5). If you are negative and have no symptoms, you will be allowed to return to school on 4/12.

IV. Students who are unable to take special leave due to non-notification or delayed notification as mentioned above will be responsible for the consequences.

VI.When there is a change in the domestic epidemic situation and the risk of infection or transmission in the community increases, the organizer of the event should assess the necessity of the event and the related risk level, and plan the relevant epidemic prevention contingency plan. For events that are not essential, that involve non-specific audiences, and that have a high risk of transmission through intensive contact, organisers should assess more carefully whether to postpone or suspend the event. The Health and Safety Section has set up a personal health declaration (online template) for reference, in accordance with the "Rules and Regulations for Campus Activities during the Severe and Special Infectious Pneumonia Prevention Period" on the COVID-19 website.
